Pilar is off to Washington

I think I had forgotten to mention that my "little" sister of only 26, has left her warm, comfortable and full service parents' home to embrace a new challenge in life. She left last Monday for Washington to study a LLM (Master in Laws) at Georgetown for a year.

She is really excited about this and looks forward to having "the time of her life". She arrived there on Tuesday and went straight to classes.

If everything goes ok I will be flying to Washington on Aug. 11th till the 29th. We plan to go to NYC for a couple of days (Pilar's Australian ex-boyfriend lives there and happily they've stayed friends over the years -he's come to Chile twice!). It will be a good break from work, family issues, routine and WINTER!!! I will also help her settle in and buy stuff for her apartment and also buy stuff for mine in IKEA!!!!! :-)
