A sad day...
We said goodbye to Grandma yesterday. She died peacefully on Thursday and I was privileged to be with her that whole afternoon.
This photo is taken at Tiona where Grandma and Farva had a permanent caravan site and where Ros and I would spend a lot of holiday time with them.
I'll never forget the love and confidence Grandma instilled in me and hope that I can pass on some of that to Callum and his future family.

Oh Susan. I am so sorry. Please call me if you need to talk or cry with someone.
Just like my grandfather 2 weeks ago, she went peacefully. Even though she's gone she will always be present in your life and in Callum's.
Suz, sorry to hear about your loss. I know how difficult it can be to lose a grandparent, particularly one that has been such an influence and support throughout your life. Thinking of you...
Thanks guys. I find it interesting that we've all lost a grandparent recently (Janine's a tad longer ago). It's nice that we can identify with each other so closely.
